제목 "유엘 사운드(아폴론)"를 회상하며................. 조찬규

"유엘 사운드(현.아폴론)"최장수 사장님께 고마움을 전하는 마음으로 이글을 씁니다.

대한민국 경제가 휘청한 IMF가 끝나갈 무렵, 우연히 인터넷 사이트를 검색중 알게된 "유엘 사운드"를,

서울에서 5년여를 살았는데도 찾기가 쇱지를 않았던, 왕십리로 기억되는 지하공방을 찾아간 것으로

부터, 최사장님과의 인연이 시작되어 현재까지 20년이 넘도록 지속되고 있으니 우리(?) 사이도 보통

인연은 아닌가 봅니다.

 

오디오의 신비함에 빠져 이리저리 바꿈질을 위하여 뛰어 다니다가 "유엘 사운드" 최사장님을 만나,

그 바꿈질을 멈추고, 음악을 듣기 시작했고 클래식에 매료되어 나름 클래식에 관한 공부도 하게되고,

주위의 지인들께 아는만큼의 클래식에 관한 지식을 공유도 하게되었습니다. 

 

70년대 아직 먹고 사는것도 제대로 해결이 않되던 시절, 시골에서는 부자소리 듣던 친구집에서 들어본

전축소리에 반해,74년12월 취업후 첫보너스로 구입한 사제앰프에, 허접한 턴테이블과, 풀레인지 스피커

두짝으로 시작한 오디오에 대한 열정과 취미는, 20대에 시작한 테니스, 중년에 시작한 골프, 작년에

시작한 파크골프와 함께 70이 넘은 지금까지 계속되고 있으니........... 설을 보내고 또 나이한살을

더먹게되니 지난 세월을 되돌아 보면서, 새삼 생의 한쪽(?)에 즐거움을 주신 최사장님을 생각하니

감사한 마음에 고마움을 전합니다. 부디 건강 하세요!!
